Realcheck is an independent contract-review service for Dubai property transactions, operated by Strange Attractor FZ-LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”). Reviews for the general public aren't open yet — once available, this page will cover them too. In the meantime, it explains what personal data we collect at each stage the service currently involves: the waitlist, guide requests, and the small number of early trial reviews we run directly with selected signups.
Strange Attractor FZ-LLC is the data controller for personal data collected through Realcheck. The company is registered in the Al Hamra Industrial Zone Free Zone, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, at FDBC0943, Compass Building, Al Shohada Road, Al Hamra Industrial Zone-FZ, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.

When you join the waitlist, we collect your name, email address, which type of review you need, and how soon you need it. We use this to manage the waitlist, to send you the confirmation and launch emails, and to identify people with an active deal who could be offered early trial access.

Your signup only becomes active once you click a verification link we email you, so the addresses we hold are real and opted in rather than unconfirmed.
Each of our step-by-step guides (Buying, Selling, Renting) can be sent to you as a PDF. The version you receive is the one you were reading, tailored by the questions you answered in the guide. To have it emailed to you, you enter your name and email address.
When you do this, we collect your name, email address, which guide you were viewing and the answers that shaped it, and your answers to a few short qualifying questions: your timeline, your rough budget, what matters most to you, and your main concerns about the process.
We use this to send you the PDF and to understand demand for the guides. The PDF is sent as a single, immediate email: there's no separate confirmation step, and requesting a guide PDF does not by itself put you on the waitlist or on any recurring mailing list.

Each guide asks a short set of questions to show you the right version of the content, and it does this even if you never request a PDF or join the waitlist. We log your answers to these questions, together with your IP address and the country it resolves to, so we can see which questions people are actually being asked and how they're answering them, and improve the guides accordingly.
This is not tied to your name or email unless you separately give us those — for example by requesting the guide as a PDF or joining the waitlist. If you go through a guide's questions more than once, each pass is logged separately.

While we test and refine the process, we contact a small number of early signups directly to offer a free or discounted trial review. We aim to deliver your report as quickly as possible; in any case, the process will not take longer than 7 days. If that's you, we'll also collect:
At the moment this happens by email, not through an upload feature on this site. The disclosures on this page apply regardless of how the document reaches us.
We process it to operate the waitlist; to send the guide PDFs people ask for and to run the optional updates list; to understand how people use the guides' questions; to carry out the reviews we're asked to do; to improve Realcheck ahead of a full launch; and, where you've agreed to it, for the case studies described above.
We keep your data for as long as it serves the purposes above:
Depending on where you're based, you may have rights over your data, including access, correction, and erasure. We honour legitimate requests to the extent required by applicable law. To exercise any of these rights, email realcheck@strangeattractor.ai. We respond within 30 days.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to see, in aggregate, how many people visit the site and which pages they use. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't track you individually across other sites. We also verify site ownership with Google using a standard site-verification tag, which doesn't collect personal data. This is separate from the guide quiz-answer logging described in section 4 above, which does record an individual IP address.
Data is encrypted in transit. Access to stored waitlist, guide-PDF request, quiz-answer log, and review data is limited to people directly working on Realcheck.
